Audio playback issue on old Thinkpad

Hi, I remember having a similar issue some time
back, on a similar machine. What did it for me
was to go into BIOS and change some power
saving options.

Okay, I'll investigate that. I won't have access to
the machine for the next week or so, so I won't
be able to try anything until then.
